Meet BenBen, that cat who was spending terrible days at a shelter waiting to be euthanized. BenBen himself was in terrible shape back then, he had a crushed spine, several deep lacerations, and a cauliflower ear. He also has excess skin on his face, which might be resulted by other animal’s attack. All in all, his appearance (mostly his face) makes him the saddest, poorest cat on the Internet.
Benben then received quite a stroke of luck when a kindhearted woman who works for an ER vet clinic adopted him. “We managed to get everything sorted out the day before his scheduled euthanization and brought him to his forever home,” said the kind lady.
After settling into his new safe place, BenBen had an almost immediate transformation. “He was instantly full of purrs, smiles, and ‘thank you’ cuddles,” says the owner. His recovery was so amazing that he was able to walk and jump around, although the vets said he could never walk again.
